We offer bed and breakfast in our 200 year old farmhouse on a smallholding in the heart of West Wales. The bed and breakfast accommodation in a pretty double bedroom with ensuite toilet, shower and wash basin. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room mean guests can have an early morning hot drink whilst sitting up in bed and enjoying the view across the garden. A full Welsh breakfast (or a lighter option if preferred) is served in the farmhouse kitchen with views out over the fields.
There are wonderful walks from the door, up into the Preseli Hills or down into the steeply wooded valleys below. Within easy reach of all of the Pembrokeshire coast, Hendre offers a cosy and comfortable base to explore this beautiful county. There is also the unique opportunity to experience wild camping – a small, extra fee secures a secluded place for camping in our woodland. Guests can then choose between sleeping out if the weather is fine or the comforts of the house if the weather is inclement.
Please note that there is no T.V in the house at Hendre. Our accommodation offers peace and quiet for a relaxing break away from the stresses of modern life. A comfortable sitting room with views over the garden, a cosy wood burner for chillier evenings and a wealth of books facilitate relaxation in the tranquillity of the house.
A cream tea can be provided on arrival by prior arrangement and guests are welcome to enjoy the garden and grounds. A seat at the end of the garden affords an uninterrupted view of the highest point in the Preseli Hills and allows for quiet reflection.
